Graco recalled about 1.5 million strollers in January 2010 after several children’s fingers were amputated in the canopy hinge as the canopy was being opened or closed.  The recall included some of Graco’s Passage, Alano and Spree Strollers and Travel Systems.Graco stroller recall Jan 2010To see if your stroller is one that was recalled, check for the model number and manufacture date.  This can be found just above the rear wheels on the inside frame.  For more information, contact the Consumer Product Safety Commission by calling 800-345-4109 or visiting http://www.cpsc.gov.  If your stroller is on the list of recalled models, Graco will send you a free repair kit.
